Selected Pregnancy and Delivery Outcomes After Exposure to Antidepressant Medication

Due to the chronic nature and recurance of Major Depressive Disorder in pregnant women researcher's and the IEMMHC support the need for proper screenings in order to treat pregnant women for depression. This article is especially interesting to the collaborative because it is the first meta-analysis to examine gestational age, birth weight, and Apgar scores among infants exposed to antidepressant medications in utero; leading to statistically significant associations for pregnancy outcomes.
